Lil Blount

Up and coming producer “Lil Blount” is making his mark on the Tampa Bay, Florida hip hop music scene. Raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Craig “Lil Blount” Blount, Jr. knew his life would revolve around music.  As a child, he would often make beats with anything he could get his hands on.  At the age of 21, he enrolled at the prestigious Full Sail Real World  Education, one of the top media arts colleges in the world.  Immediately upon graduating, he formed a music entertainment / production company called "Merk City Entertainment" with his cousin, Ralph "Polo" Butler. One of their current projects involves producing and performing with their own rap group M.C.E. Currently performing at venues from Tampa Bay to Miami, this group possess the ingredients needed for success. Lil Blount has also produced projects and made beats for other local artists in the Tampa Bay area and is ready to expand globally. Confident and charismatic on stage, yet humble and quiet off stage, Lil Blount’s goal is to make great music people can enjoy from the clubs to the streets.  In 2008, he  joined forces with Razzor Records Studio's, engineering and producing and can be found there most evenings making beats or working on his latest project.  Lil Blount has a wide array of musical influences, ranging from Michael Jackson, to Lil Wayne, to Timbaland.  Yet he has a unique style all his own.  Lil Blount gives thanks to God, his mother and manager Tina, and all of his family, friends, and fans who have supported him.  “It doesn’t matter where you come from or what you have done in the past. You can succeed in life if you put God first, stay humble, never give up, and support one another.” explains Lil Blount.  On the personal side, he is a loving father of one child, Jalen, who is his reason for everything he does!   You may contact Lil Blount directly at merkcityent@yahoo.com, or contact his manager Tina at merkcityentertainment@gmail.com or  727-452-0842.

Polo

Born and raised on the tough streets of South St.  Petersburg, Florida, Ralph "Polo" Butler was always athletic and played every sport from football to basketball.  But throughout all the years of playing ball, he never lost his love for music. After attending NIACC (North Area Community College) in Los Angeles, California, he transferred to COC (College Of the Canyons) in Valencia, California where he continued to play football and run track until a season-ending shoulder injury put a dent in his football career. After returning home, he reunited with Lil Blount and started “Merk City Entertainment” as a way to express his music in his own way.   He also works for NuNoise Entertainment as a graphics designer and assistant, as well as Razzor Records Studio producing and designing graphics.  He would like to Thank God who has made a way and made all things possible in his life; his mother Tonya, who has been there by his side thru the thick and the thin; his whole entire family for all the love and support throughout the years, and his manager Tina, who is the glue to the Merk City Entertainment family. And a special shout out to all of his friends & fans who have supported and believed in his vision.
